GENERAL COMMENTS

Tuition and Program Fee

Tuition includes instructional costs, most classroom supplies, daily snacks, orientation, and parent
educational programs. The program fee covers speech and hearing screenings, vision screenings,
the annual yearbook, per-child accident insurance, field trips, and classroom celebrations. The
program fee is built into the calculated tuition payments under each tuition payment plan.

Tuition Discounts

For families enrolling two children, the tuition for the older child will be discounted 10%. For
families enrolling more than two children, the tuition for all enrolled children will be discounted
10%. The program fee is not discounted.

Tuition Payment Plans

Three tuition payment plans are available. They are as follows:

• Pay by Year: Pay the enrollment deposit upon signing the tuition contract and pay the
balance of tuition, less a $100 discount, and the program fee by June 15, 2013. Payment
by EFT is optional under this plan.

• Pay by Semester: Pay the enrollment deposit upon signing the tuition contract, pay one-
half of tuition and one-half of the program fee by June 15, 2013, and pay the balance of
tuition, (one-half of tuition less the enrollment deposit paid) and balance of the program
fee by January 15, 2013. Payment by EFT is optional under this plan.

• Pay by Month: Pay the enrollment deposit upon signing the tuition contract and pay
your remaining obligation in twelve equal monthly payments from June 2013 through
May 2014. The remaining obligation is the balance of tuition (tuition less the enrollment
deposit paid) plus the program fee plus a service fee. The service fee is $254.00 for a full
Half Day tuition, and $365.00 for a full All Day tuition. Any discounts appliucable to
tuition will apply also to the service fee. Payment by EFT is required under this plan.

See the Tuition Payment Plans Schedule for further details.

Financial Obligations

Children’s Meeting House has expenses of a continuing nature. So that our programs and services
can be provided over the entire year, it is essential that annual income from tuition be assured.
Accordingly an enrolled family’s obligation to pay Children’s Meeting House the full amount
of the tuition contract becomes binding upon the date when the tuition contract is signed by the
Head of School. This obligation is not affected by the family’s withdrawal of any student from
Children’s Meeting House for the coming school year at any point after this date. In rare cases,
exceptions to this policy may be made on an individual basis upon evaluation of individual
petitions made in writing to the Board of Trustees.
